Gearing Up for January, Poems #2

Two Short Untitled Poems
(November 2005)
Josh MacLeod

We have past the point of wishes
Where gods and monsters meet
Waiting nothing, needing only hope
And rest from dreams in sleeps.

the silence is a voice
above reproach
filled with the same

and eyes void of anger
only unbearably tired
sad
and weary

the explosion
waited for
never comes
only the silence
and then a single sigh

  2. Heh. Thanks. It'll be a fun project once I get to the poem-a-day part. Right now just posting some stuff so people get a general feel of what I end up writing.

  3. A strangled lol,
    A muted rofl,
The sounds of a Xangas death.

  5. Cuz blogger is prettier :) And the xanga blog was largely for silly things anyway. Still is, if I ever have time to do up some stream of consciousness for it.
